Nobody I know likes being Creatively Blocked; we like doing work; we hate being stuck.
It's like Inertia:
An object that's resting, is going to keep resting.
A writer who is resting, is going to keep resting.
UNLESS: Acted on by an outside force.
It doesn't take much to get us going again once something OUTSIDE of our own brain takes charge.
If your brain is tired from doing EVERYTHING ON YOUR OWN, then it might be time for some help, it might be time for Writing Prompts.
If you've never seen a Writing Prompt book, they exist, they're pages of little snippets of ideas to engage your brain and give you something to REACT to.
(If you've ever flown into a typing rage after seeing someone "be wrong" on the internet, then you have experienced this phenomenon of having something to react to. Your brain almost automatically writes.)
But those books of prompts are black text on a white page, list after list of words for you to pick from. And when your brain is tired from writing, aren't you already tired out from looking at more text on a plain page?
That's why I make Photo-Inspired Writing Prompts, they are lively prompts taken from the context of beautiful photography.
Never look at a blank page again.
Because, Photo Prompts can be in your toolkit forevermore.
